THE BIGGEST STORIES OF THE WEEK:

  • 1) The Toronto Raptors and New York Knicks have finalized a big-time trade. Toronto is sending OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa and Malachi Flynn to the Knicks in exchange for RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and a 2024 second-round draft pick.

  • 2) The Detroit Pistons ended their NBA record-tying losing streak at 28 games with a 129-127 victory over the short-handed Toronto Raptors on Saturday night, as Cade Cunningham had 30 points and 12 assists.

  • 3) Bennedict Mathurin and the NBA Players Association donated $10,000 to the Haitian Association Of Indiana.

    Bennedict and his sister, Jenn, also bought 130 tickets for members of the Haitian community to enjoy the game.

4) End of the season last year, Myles gifted the whole Pacers staff between $500 & $3000 to each individual member, along with his MTX merchandise. He did it because the staff wouldn’t get a bonus for the team missing playoffs but he took $60k of his own money to make sure they could enjoy offseason someway somehow!

  • 5) Goran Dragic announces his retirement after a 15-year NBA career

  • 6) Billy Donovan told reporters Ball is expected to resume running in January because "the pain that he was experiencing has been eliminated."

    That doesn't mean Ball will be taking the court this season.
