3) LeBron James has signed a multiyear trading card deal with Fanatics, the company announced Wednesday, ending a 20-year run between rival trading card firm Upper Deck and the NBA star, whose memorabilia has routinely auctioned for millions of dollars in recent years.

4) Erik Spoelstra recently signed a record-breaking eight-year contract extension with the Miami Heat, worth around $120 million. This extension is the largest in NBA history for a coach, making Spoelstra one of the highest-paid and most respected coaches in the league.

5) In an emotional conversation around the time of his indefinite league suspension, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green suggested that NBA commissioner Adam Silver talked him out of retirement, according to a new episode of "The Draymond Green Show."

6) Domantas Sabonis was among five NBA players who will star in a new NBA documentary series on Netflix, which released a similar show "Quarterback" last July. Along with the Sacramento Kings forward, the series will highlight superstars LeBron James, Jimmy Butler, Jayson Tatum and Anthony Edwards. The yet-to-be-named series is produced by several groups, including The SpringHill Company founded by James and his agent Maverick Carter, Barack and Michelle Obama's Higher Ground Productions and Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions.

7) To open a spot for Williams on the 15-man roster, Memphis will waive veteran center Bismack Biyombo, according to Woj, who notes that Biyombo has been impressive in his time with the Grizzlies and could return to the team later in the season if he clears waivers.
