1) Jimmy Butler and Naji Marshall are suspended one game each for "instigating and engaging in an on-court altercation." The league suspended Heat center Thomas Bryant and Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado three games each for "leaving the bench area and entering an on-court altercation." The league also suspended Heat forward Nikola Jović one game for joining the fracas from the bench.

2) Trae Young suffered a torn ligament in the fifth finger of his left hand during Friday night’s loss to Toronto. Young will have surgery Tuesday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

3) With less than a half-season remaining on his current coaching contract, Steve Kerr has finally agreed to a contract extension with the Warriors. The terms: Two years, $35 million, as team sources confirmed late Friday night. ESPN was first to report the deal.

4) The Chicago Bulls have lost another key player for the remainder of the season after the team announced that Patrick Williams will undergo surgery to repair a stress reaction in his left foot.

5) Aleksej Pokusevski Waived by Oklahoma City Thunder.

6) The Brooklyn Nets announced on Monday that they have fired head coach Jacque Vaughn. The Brooklyn Nets have relieved Jacque Vaughn of his head coaching duties. An interim head coach will be named in the near future.

7) Minnesota Timberwolves Mike Conley Jr. has agreed on a two-year $21 million extension.
