1) The Los Angeles Lakers have signed free agent guard Spencer Dinwiddie, it was announced today by Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Rob Pelinka

2) Buddy Hield was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in a three-team deal involving the San Antonio Spurs. On February 9, Hield made his 76ers debut, putting up 20 points and six assists in a 127–121 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

3) The Lakers unveiled a statue of Kobe Bryant on Thursday, honoring their late superstar with a 19-foot bronze likeness outside their arena.

4) Haywood Highsmith was involved in a car accident on on his way home from the team's Tuesday matchup against the Orlando Magic at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Highsmith crashed into a man who was trying to help the driver of a disabled vehicle, per CBS News. The man needed a partial amputation of his leg and had other fractures, according to police.

5) Bucks acquire Patrick Beverley in trade with 76ers

6) Dallas is strengthening its frontcourt as the season wanes, reaching a trade with Washington for center Daniel Gafford. The Mavs send Richaun Holmes and a 2024 first-round pick (via Oklahoma City) to the Wizards for Gafford.

The pick was acquired via a separate deal between the Mavs and Oklahoma City Thunder in which the Mavs sent a 2028 pick swap to the Thunder for a 2024 first-round pick.
